What It Is

Every name
carries a story.

The Calling is an illuminated public memorial built entirely from the names our community sends us. A grandmother, a friend, a child, someone gone fifty years or fifty days.

We do not dwell in loss. We celebrate the fullness of the lives that shaped us. Every name added is one more light on a dark plaza, and one more reason for a stranger to stop walking and read.

One name per submission. If you have several, send the form again — there is no limit and no cost. Every submission is reviewed before display. Approved names submitted by 5:00 PM MT — two hours before the evening’s first projection — are included that night. Names submitted after 5:00 PM appear the following evening.

This is exactly how the name will appear in The Calling — including accents, nicknames, or a title.
